ABOUT US
Christian Community Services, Inc. is located at 814 N. LaSalle on the property that was originally the old Boone Motel. It was donated to Christian Community Services, Inc. by the Boone children.
The organization was formed in 1990 as an independent organization but affiliated with Grimes County Ministers Association. The organization is governed by a Board of Members selected from area churches. Volunteers from area churches and the community keep the pantry serving the people of Grimes County.

If you are a new client, we request that you bring a current utility bill or lease agreement to verify Grimes County residency. If the bill is in someone else’s name, a letter from the owner may accompany the current bill.
This residency verification is requested,
but not required.
We serve Grimes County residents.

Donations in lieu of gifts
I know we all have that friend or family member who it is just impossible to buy a gift for. Either they already have everything, or they simply don’t want anything else, but they still want to be remembered at Christmas or their birthday. We have a solution for you. You can make a gift in their honor to Christian Community Services. We will send them a personalized thank you card informing them of your gift in their honor. Of course, gifts can also be made to Christian Community Services in lieu of flowers for a funeral. We will send a card to the family of the decreased letting them know of your gift in their loved one’s memory.
